Lauren's Story

Growing up in a family where her parents committed their careers to renovating properties, Lauren has always been surrounded by interiors and renovation work, with her real interest in interiors accumulating during her study of Textiles throughout her secondary school years, where she began designing and creating her own work.

After completing a degree in History of Art in 2017, Lauren went on to graduate from Leeds University with a Master's in Curating, a year later. Since then, she has worked at a number of art galleries, curating and delivering exhibitions and providing a consultancy service for art investment.

Upon moving to Bristol and being surrounded by Will's carpentry work, Lauren was reminded of her formative years with her parents projects. Last year, Lauren left the art galleries to study for a diploma in Interior Design, whilst becoming a member of the team at Conker.

Since completing the design course, Lauren has become a full-time team member, founding Conker's design side, Studio Conker. Studio Conker focuses predominantly on the creative outlets of the business, namely the Interior Design.

Lauren's keen eye-for-detail and ability to curate spaces with a focus on aesthetics, has led her to becoming an instrumental part of the business, as her and Will work together to continue providing beautiful, quality spaces for their clients.
